a.) A woman at 32/40 is reviewed in the day assessment unit. She has a blood pressure of 150/90 mmHg and 3+ proteinuria.

b.) A woman at 26 weeks with a blood pressure of 140/90 mmHg is seen on the labour ward. She complains of headache and flashing lights. She has no proteinuria on urine dipstick.

c.) A pre-eclamptic woman in hospital at 36 weeks has a transient grand mal seizure.
